Tim Penner - Slideways Sessions 06 [June 18, 2015]


Slideways is proud to present Tiago De Renor's debut release on the label. This EP features Mill Row and Mad Symphony, complimented by two stunning remixes from Danny Oliviera and Paul Hazendonk & Noraj Cue. 
 
Brazilian Based Tiago delivers two distinctly atmospheric progressive cuts. Mill Row opens the EP with a beautiul array of intricate melodies and chords underpinned with a driving bassline and pristine percussive elements that propels throughout the track delivering a hypnotic late night vibe.

Mad Symphony, as the title suggests, combines a leftfield eerie bass, lush chord arrangements and a huge off-kilter leadline that oozes class.  
 
Danny Oliveira's reinterpretation of Mill Row strips proceedings back by delivering an industrial percussion, whilst spacing out the leadline and ramping up the bass, which is certainly the driving facet of this remix. 
 
Rounding off the release Paul Hazendonk & Noraj Cue weigh in with a driving peaktime progressive rendition of Mad Symphony. A cleverly filtered bass combined with trademark stabs and precise percussive hits works it's way through the mix before the lead works it's way into prominence and continues unrelenting to a crescendo.
 
All four tracks are brilliantly moulded into a full array of sounds and rhythm to make this another proud release in the Slideways Catalog. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
