Next up on the EstimuloShow guest mix series i have the pleasure to present Myles Mac from Melbourne, record digger, DJ, event host, and probably well known to most of you for running the long standing, influential podcast series "Melbourne Deepcast".
For us he put together a selection of mainly 90s digs and nugs, that will  keep you asking "wow, whats that" and sharking for IDs, we're sure.

We first heard of Doc Jay in the infamous Libramix series where his contributions have been and still are constantly on repeat. He has not only created a wonderful mix series (Doc Jay's Inn) during lockdown, but Julius is also a very talented painter and overall visual artist. Hailing from Stockholm, Doc Jay blesses us with "a 2h 20min selection built by 100% Swedish music from the late 80s and 90s (or 97,6 % to be exact, as I accidently threw in a brittish track hehe...)" - in his own words. Well then... cheers <3

Next journey is coming from Alexander Francis – a Brussels based DJ with a great feeling for the slower trippy stuff well suited to this series, so we’re very happy to have him on board now. Still remembering the good times we had together when we met up in Brussels two years ago. Thank you.

“For the last 15 years, Giu Nunez has been presenting herself as a Dj in South America, starting her career at the age of 18 and collecting songs since childhood. She carried out parties dedicated to Afro-Latin culture in Curitiba and after moving to São Paulo, she dug even deeper into the record archaeology. That’s where we met her too, her magic behind the decks was omnipresent... It was by creating her own sound, digging into vinyl records, listening and nurturing her own aesthetic, the obvious first feelings of something new, with a repertoire for the most obscure & world music finds, that resulted into her curiosity and versatility in mixing genres and perceptions. 

Her work gained charming recognition around the world, which made, for the last 8 years, her a common name in the lineup of festivals and parties throughout Brazil and in several other countries, playing on global events like the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Radio Tempo Não Pára, Boilerroom.tv, Rinse.Fm, Kiosk, ….
