Planned set for my childhood friends’ annual reunion. After a year living in Lisbon, away from my family and friends, I learned to mix on a FLX4 and put together a set for the reunion with my friends, my siblings, and my cousins.

This set brings together the styles of my favorite artists, along with the music I discovered during my time in Lisbon and several classics and mash-ups that are very special to my crew.

I don’t consider myself a professional, but I hope you enjoy it. Love you guys <3

Australia's Dave Mathmos brings us a five-track re-edit EP that digs impressively deep for inspiration. 'Slick Talk' revisits Asha Puthli's 1976 Indo-disco nugget 'Space Talk' (a favourite at The Loft) and is every bit as hypnotic and sensual as the original. 'Just... A Lonely Soul' reworks Labi Siffre's 'I Got The' from 1975 (the source for Eminem's 'My Name Is') and comes in hazy, druggy Part 1 and more immediately floor-friendly Part 2 forms, while finally 'Sell The House' and the fairly self-explanatory 'Sell The Dub' are based on a 1976 Ashford & Simpson album cut of the same name.

With a mixed bag of jazz-funk, early 80's boogie and high energy disco there is something for everyone here. But we really wanna give the A side track 'Bobo's Reason'(Willie Bobo) an extra mention...proper full on summer jazz-funk with a slight disco edge. Feel good material".

B side features a heavy edit of Beggar&Co - Keep On Running, originally 1:25 long, now turned into a 5mn weapon with new parts, and don't miss the retake on Jo Bisso - Love Somebody, with its endless fat disco groove. Additional productions + masterings by myself, an other great release to play loud !
