Haydn Trent Lewis, born 12th June 1992, is an up-and-coming DJ who has a passion for music and performing live as a DJ. From a young age, he was brought up listening to his mother's vast collection of music, a lot of which reflected her Barbadian roots. Motown, Soul, Ska, Reggae as well as the classic anthems from such artists as Whitney Houston and Lionel Richie have all influenced Haydn in some way or another, and have enabled him to develop his own very diverse collection and interest in music.

From this, it was clear that even from a young age, Haydn had a natural enthusiasm for music and sound. He would often find himself trawling through YouTube and finding tracks to inspire him, whether it was singing along to them in his bedroom, or pretending he was on the centre-stage in Ibiza playing a track to thousands of people - music seemed to give him a sense of excitement that nothing could rival. 

Haydn's first experience of DJ’ing came from an experience that he and a friend he had known throughout his Primary and Secondary School life, had. A School Disco at the start of his Secondary School Career opened his eyes to the world of DJ’ing and exciting world of performing live to a crowd. The DJ at the School Disco is still yet to be named (and shamed), for what was a very cheesy and unprofessional service – and instead of complaining and doing nothing about it, this straight away inspired Haydn to do something about it. 

He, along with close friend Ollie Bishop, decided to buy their very own first DJ’ing equipment. While their friends asked for the latest games console or football shirt for Christmas and Birthdays, Haydn and Ollie asked for Cambridge Audio CD Players and a 2-Channel Mixer. Haydn’s first sound system was free, and from a skip down the road – a simple amplifier and set of hi-fi speakers. 

Working on the Mobile DJ Scene with co-DJ Ollie Bishop, Haydn has been performing live sets for various clients throughout Milton Keynes, providing Professional sound and lighting shows for Birthday Parties, Weddings, Proms, and various other events. Starting this venture with a friend at the age of 12 was difficult and meant a lot of hard work and practice was required in order for him to make it worth his while financially. Every penny earned went straight back into the maintenance and acquisition of his DJ equipment - and after 6 years of hard work and focused enthusiasm for the art of DJ'ing, Haydn is now ready to burst onto the club scene, in his local town of Milton Keynes, and nationally - having already built up a very profitable and highly-rated Mobile DJ Business.
 
Financial restrictions currently mean Haydn hasn't been able to purchase his first set of very own CDJ's, which most nightclubs are conforming too. However, despite using a Behringer BCD3000 Midi Controller in conjunction with computer DJ software Traktor 3LE to perform live on a regular basis for the 18-30 years age range, Haydn has also had experience using a friend's CDJ's occasionally for personal use. 

Despite his vast diversity of music influences growing up, Haydn has been very much interested in House as well as Dance music. He has also recently developed a keen interest in Dubstep, which seems to have burst onto the commercial club scene over the last few years. 

This is a space for him to showcase his mixes, passion and talent.
