I often have a very hard time presenting myself to the public in any circumstance. I am usually met with a lot of fear and anxiety, as I attempt to gestate something that would be tangible to everyone. Within this mix I found so many of my unborn feelings being voiced, from the small Mexican child that had no perception of his own importance, to the full grown adult who faces similar discrepancies but in a deeper reflection. I didn't know what was going to come of this. Fast forward to the night of PERRA, an event brought to SLC with the focus of POC bodies in mind, where I was able to accomplish and create what you see now. Within many forms of myself I find so much appreciation and love for myself and those around me, through the power of music. I hope you enjoy what is being presented and I wish you all the best.
