Downplay is proud to welcome back Birmingham producer BWK Project to the label for his brand new release “Round U”.

‘Round U’ is a perfect summertime anthem, immediately setting the vibe with it’s driving 4x4 groove and light melodic touches. Once the bass kicks in, it’s game over - and absolutely guaranteed to get any crowd jumping.

Second track ‘Secrets’ hits it’s stride straight away with a tough 2-step rhythm, before unfolding into a proper bubbler complete with diva vocal stabs and rolling bass.

Finally, label-mate Angus Green delivers another master-class in remix production, taking the title track and tweaking the formula just enough to bring something fresh to the table - further proving him as the one to watch in UKG.

Downplay returns for it’s 50th and final release ‘Future Vintage’. The release celebrates some of the label’s highlights over recent years with a fresh remix of each by key artists from the UK Garage scene.

Phonetix brings a dazzling level of technical expertise to his take on D Selektah ‘Be Good’, offering a blueprint for how to make UK Garage sound simultaneously classic and brand new.

BWK Project flexes his production muscle on Kells ‘A Girl’ with a club-focused bump ‘n’ groove refix that showcases why he’s one of the most in-demand artists working in UK Garage today.

Angus Green flips the original 4x4 action of Eximius ‘So Good’ into a sparkling 2-Step rhythm perfect for laid-back sunday sessions.

Earthnut deliver a sense of playfulness in their mutation of Kazumi Anazai’s deep cut ‘Beehive’, creating a rolling percussive monster in the process.

Kells displays his inimitable style on Royal Flush’s fan favourite ‘Need You’, opting for a stripped-back 4x4 banger that will heat up any dance- floor.

Aaron Danks brilliantly flips Angus Green’s discofied original ‘Got To Leave’ into a speed garage warper that is everything you want from that description, and more.

Fork and Knife adds a dash of grime to his take on label-mate Phonetix ‘Lighting Fires’, pulling out all the stops to deliver a refix that packs a sonic punch.

Witchdoctor works his magic on Limita’s classic joint ‘Static’, contorting it into a deep and deadly journey into breaks.

Finally, the immensely talented MKII heats up the club with his melodic rave-inspired take on Nekst’s collaboration with Orla O’Dwyer ‘Connektions’, delivering a perfect closing track.

Slime is proud to present ‘Forever’, the debut album from Malaga production masterminds BSN Posse.

Since the inception of the label, the Spanish duo have been a core member of the global family that makes up the imprint’s roster. Across the past five years they have been prolific in their craft, creating music that defied classification which has seen their star rise both in their homeland and abroad. Tearing up festivals and nightclubs alike with their frenetic mix of styles, they have conquered Sonar, featured on the pages of Red Bull, XLR8R and Thump, and provided mixes for the legendary Ashes57. Over this time they have cultivated a unique niche in cutting-edge electronic music that they call ‘Iberian Juke’, a blissful mutation of the Chicago sound that has now become something else in its own right entirely.

A year ago we asked them to distil their unique sound into an album. Fast forward to the present day and the resulting body of work exceeded all our expectations. With a cavalcade of guest stars along for the ride, they process the pioneering spirit of rave music through the Iberian Juke filter – elements of house, jungle, garage, dubstep, breaks, hip hop and electro are all present and correct but twisted into startling new shapes. This remarkable collection will secure their place as one of the leading lights in the new wave of global producers tearing up the genre rulebook.
