Take a think back to the end of the night, past the two o'clock knock-off time and towards that steady flicker of synthetic lights that tell you to go home. There's a sunrise somewhere outside, creeping towards the horizon and providing the clarity of day. But for now, the bass deepens as Aiden Francis draws you into his folds: the night has a few more memories to be made and the dancefloor a collection of dedicated music lovers who are there to wring the last few moments from it.

Aiden Francis started creating and forming this release back in 2019. At the time, he was repeatedly getting stuck in a musical rut with no clear artist or musical direction. So when he started working on the title track 'Mezzanine', all the other tracks fell into place after that. By the time 2020 came around, the EP was pretty much done but when the Covid pandemic hit, he found myself with a lot more time to sit removed from outside influence. So he sat back down with the tracks to refine and perfect them. His recording process for this started out quite relaxed but it then became some sort of lifeline for him over those lonely and scary months. This is why most of the tracks are less heavy dance floor orientated and more for those moments of bliss at home, the end of the night or that 7 am walk home from the club.

With a debut outing set to drop via the ever-reliable @dkmntl imprint and a first appearance at the Dutch festival this Summer, Danish producer Central is about to explode onto the international scene. We took the chance to find out more about his musical heritage, the process behind 'Political Dance' and his expectations for the times to come. We are also proud to present the opening cut 'Keep Love On Me' in full-stream form.

Firm favorite of the channel, 'Who's Susan' made some serious strides last year, whamming out their first four records within a year of their inception. Each of their offerings demonstrating the dutch imprint's penchant for authenticity, whilst fundamentally retaining their dance-floor roots. Perhaps helping us get a little closer to that fabled question; who is she!?

Dwell in the past, we shalt not; this is now. It's 2018 and their 5th release (technically 004) states some serious intent going forth. This one's a split record from Axe on Wax head honcho, Fede Lng on the A and the bodacious Deejay Astral on the flip - and by Jove it's heavy. We're pleased to be premiering Fede's 'Shut 'em Down' - a stonking, rip-rawing bully of a jam. Gone are the times to sit, contemplate and meloncholically mull ones projections into the forthcoming year. This one's for the floor and it's taking you there whether you like it or not. This time it won’t be a five tracker VA but a FOURTEEN tracker VA ! Yes Fourteen ! And for this occasion we took almost the same team but added some new name that won’t leave you indifferent ! Talented producers from all over the world - UK, Germany, Australia, France, Italy, Libanon & Switzerland ! 

Like in APRH001, the compilation will be divided in two parts : 
- The first one will be dedicated to boogie house including jazzy, deep, funky & soulful sonorities 
- The second part will embrace the path of darky & punchy house such as Lo-Fi, Acid, Rapide tones 

Furthermore, this release is also really special to us because 99% of the funds are gonna be donated to our beloved Indonesians friends that were recently hit by more than 1000 earthquakes in less than a month ! (The 1% left is to cover our expanses for the release such as high quality mastering, artwork & distribution)
