Bassweight Nostalgia Vol. 2 is the latest instalment in Debba’s ongoing 2-tracker self-release series showcasing nostalgic club tunes built for late-night sound systems. A continuation of last year’s Volume 1 featuring two peak-time tracks, Volume 2 builds on the development of Debba’s recognisable sonic identity. In the works since early 2025, the EP is stripped but weighted, with warm subs, ghosted vocals and swinging UKG-influenced percussion.

1. Debba ‘I Don’t Know’

Rumbling subs, tight percussion and scattered vocal fragments in a 4/4 club tool that unfolds patiently and heavily, featuring a trademark UK Bass switch up midway through.

2. Debba ‘In My Heart’

A more direct stepper with pitched vocal hooks and UKG swing, balancing melancholy with a heart-thumping low-end. A gentle nod to the title track Just Wanna from last year’s 4-track EP on Madam X’s Kaizen.
