Back in 2004 I did a gig with MC Jakes at a club called WUK in Vienna, Austria. This is the first half of the set, playing breaks and into the D&B part of the set. You can hear the full D&B part of this live show also on our soundcloud, posted about 5 years ago. I only just found this section of the show on an old hard drive this week, nearly 20 years after the event!

The intro Jakes did for the mix we sampled on a Baobinga remix we did, also in 2004, called 'Shake Yer Head' on our 777 label (in case you recognised it!)

Recognized for his devastatingly solid bass sound, Funk U has been a household name in the breaks scene for many years, often seen entering the top 10 on Beatport via labels such as Spektra, Distorsion, Need money, Elektroshok, Soul Deep Digital, and more recently by the mighty 83 Label. Anybody familiar with our events would also remember seeing Funk U grace our parties many times to drop his distinctive sound. Lanx and Nick Slater, aka the Drumattic Twins, have been a leading force in dance music since they first began touring over 20 years ago. Making their name as Shades of Rhythm, they ruled the early nineties rave scene with legendary anthems ‘Sweet Sensation’, ‘Sound of Eden’, ‘Extacy’ and ‘Homicide’ and performed with the likes of The Prodigy and N-Joi.

Since rebranding themselves as the Drumattic Twins in 1997, Nick and Lanx quickly replicated this global notoriety thanks to massive hit tracks ‘Feelin Kinda Strange’ ‘Twister’ and ‘HyperSpeed’. They teamed up with the legendary release platform Finger Lickin Records in 1999 and settled quickly into the close-knit world of the breakbeat scene, working alongside global acts such as Plump DJs, Soul of Man and Lee Coombs.

From a string of releases from 1999 starting with top the selling "Feeling Kinda Strange" till late 2013 with their "Get Up and Dance EP" on Sugarbeat Records and 2 full length albums in between the Drumattic Twins have laid down a variety of music that have influenced the Breaks Scene and shaped it in to what it is today.

Angel and Ruben, better known as "Mutantbreakz", are one of the most representative artists of our country. These two young men began their musical careers in 2007 and were quickly recognized in the breakbeat scene for their performances at visitors room (Barbate). In 2008 they start their own radio show on “Salvaje FM” and are nominated for the Spanish Breaks Awards. IN 2010 they hit the stage presenting their first LIVES shows! and releasing his first works under the record labels: Need Money, Rat Records, Hot Cakes, Distortion Records, Ibwt Music, Menu Music, Booty Breaks, etc. .. being record producers and agents of the Need Money, Distorsion Records and GuachincheRecords label. . Collaborating and working on remixes for artists such as: Dubpistol, SpecimenA, Lady Waks, Deekline, Kuplay, Yo speed, Marten Horger, Rico Tubbs,, EdSolo, Baymont Bross, etc. They share their music with the rest of the world by being regulars to the radio show Lady Waks and collaborating with her on several Videos, tracks, being Winners in 2016 for "Best International Track" Along with Lady Waks and Ragga Twins At the International Breaks Award "I.B.A." His musical style has crossed borders several times, his performances and productions have such acceptance by his public that they visit the best parties and festivals breaks in our country and countries such as Russia, USA, Vietnam, Uk, Ukraine, Latvia, etc.
