Slip the DJ is a progressive breakbeat musician from New Orleans, LA represented by Kanga In Space management. A product of the original 1990s music underground, his style has been compared to that of the best loved artists of the “techno” era, when house music was fresh, exciting, and changing the scene all over the world. Inventive, kaleidoscopic, and eternally danceable, music by Slip the DJ builds crowds, interest and emotion for recordings, performances and playlist spots which never fail to excite his audiences.

An artist who paints with tones the world at large offers him, Slip's music often sounds live in a way digital music often doesn't.

Slip the DJ's repertoire includes such popular drops as “To the Top,” “When Music Was Music,” as well as his most recent release, “Bad as Funk,” a three-song EP which appeared from kundry Records November 15th, 2018. Part of the secret to Slip the DJ's live-sounding digital music is his grounding outside of house and progressive breakbeat.
