non-sampled beat ~ "the beginning" I chose not to change because I wanted to show case where I started. We all have to start somewhere and this is where I did. Be proud of that and be patient with yourself because the journey is more enjoyable than the destination.

sample-based beat ~  I was feeling a bit out of place, and I think you can feel that in this beat as well. I wanted nothing more than too share that feeling in a chaotic less organized sound

southeast beat ~ this beat played around with different sounds that allowed me to better understand the Ableton software. I wouldn't take it too seriously (hence the track cover) and instead listen for elements that you would like to implement in your own music

House beat ~ something is starting to come together...this was the first beat I really felt like was my own, and I couldn't wait to share it. The beat samples an interview about the revolution that is loving black hair and it served as the inspiration for my beat. Enjoy :)

solo beat #1 ~ I wanted to take the pressures one feels generally and give it a healthier placement within ourselves. For me, that manifested as a feeling of socializing among other growth-oriented people who share love for me. This is what I imagine that to feel like...heavy, thick, intentional, and beautiful

gemini (ft. KOD)

collaboration beat ft. dani boi ~most of the inspiration for this beat came from a 1950s ad centering a housewife explaining her love for cooking that allowed her to feel like she had "accomplishing something." My curiosity surrounding that "something" drove me to make this beat.
