This is the debut release from Slow Karma, and features the otherworldly harp of rising star DARA DUBH.
 
Inspired by spiritual jazz, Irish folk music & dub reggae, this magical soundscape holds a deep groove, and hopes to transport the listener to a dreamy place of peace and inspiration.
 
A lack of lyrics does not equal a lack of meaning. Slow Karma wrote this track with the following thought in mind: "Sometimes, after difficult times, still being here at all is enough. Sometimes, we find a place to be just be still and this is what we need. Sometimes this quiet refuge is in music. This can be a blessing and an offering."

SK is built around the electrifying live stylings of CJ Stevenson (guitar), Kyle Grieve (drums) & Jack Elliot (electric bass), the studio prowess of Dave Oscillation (production/keys), as well as an extended family of musicians and artists, including Dara Dubh, Sithu Aye, Lesley Wilson, Fergus Cook, & Kassandra E'Silva.

SK have had a long, deliberate gestation since forming in 2023, working in secret to produce some vital, live studio recordings, working with local filmmakers to produce super hi-fi recordings and films of their debut work, which they cannot wait to share throughout 2024.
