Our family members Dandeloo and Lamalice finally join forces for their first vinyl release on Sentaku, perfectly embodying legendary Onogawa Kisaburō's spirit and energy. Famously considered as one of Japan's most gifted sumo wrestlers under Tokagawa's reign in the Edo period, he was one of the few to match Tanikaze's skill and reputation.

Dandeloo kicks off the EP with 'Infinite Path', a powerful rhythm perfectly meeting midway between a soothing comfort and an aggressive storm, followed by Lamalice's 'Annihilation', which pretty much describes itself! Starting the B-side with 'Onogawa Kisaburō', an exploding rhythm that dazzles at every encounter, exactly like the wrestler would in the sumo ring. Finally, Dandeloo closes with 'Dream Machine', a nostalgic and emotional track symbolising Onogawa's skills and perseverance over the years.

After a well received opening release from Luca Piermattei, Fresh Tunez have announced their second installment. At the controls this time they have DJ Gerald aka Himalaya Juice Culture, the “For President“ EP contains five tracks that meander through various dance floor influences, each of them providing a warm and enriched experience.

Diving in at the deep end is “M.RX7” a pacey and energetic quest, living up to the playful and animated ethos of the label, spacey synths circulate the belly of the track. The sleek and silky sounds of “Weakand” create an inviting atmosphere for the listener, as you become absorbed by the deep and emotional chords, and tight drum arrangements.

Riding a squiggling groove on the B side is “Stuva”, subtle acid tinges lace the track enabling it to heat up any given dancefloor. B2 “Yamaha” shows some real intelligent tenacity, and versatility in DJ Gerald’s sound. Melt in your mouth pads breathing life into the glitchy broken drums. A fitting end to the EP is “Hey Hey Stay One”, a two and a half minute trip of unique and blissful textures to ease you out of the release.

The System Error brand continues to shine in recent times with a slew of high quality and sought after releases under their belt, showing no signs of slowing down over the next period, with TUNEZ002 being a fantastic addition to the refined catalogue.

OPIA002 coming in thick and fast. Four tracks. Two artists. 
Leading the way is Steve Marie, coming through with a refined combination of euphoria with a definite rave tinge. ‘Opiace’ is a pacey number from the off, with a bassline that creeps in and just keeps on coming back to get you. A dark and mysterious affair in ‘Yvar’, driven and punchy, laced with peculiar voices. 

After releasing ‘ABE Security Systems’ on the previous release, Luis Malon returns, this time with two tracks which take up the whole of the B side.  A constant progression of obscurity and curious sounds from the South American artist in ‘Maybe Forever Baby’. Rounding off the EP is ‘Astrosonik’, broken drums lead you to a place of otherworldly atmospheres, absorbing you in the trip. Acquired grooves intelligently arranged by the young talent.

The unhurried rhythm of evolution.

Slow Life came into being in 2011 when an easygoing set of Spaniards & Italians crossed paths and coalesced in Berlin. The current collective consists of Laurine, Cecilio, S. Moreira, and Santi Uribe a.k.a. Indi Zone. The music they play, like the music they produce, is bound together by threads of luminosity and timelessness. 

Between innumerable hours in the studio, a knack for sourcing new talent, and thoughtful art direction, the label grew steadily and organically, and a signature Slow Life identity began to emerge. This led naturally to parties at their homebase in Hoppetosse and the globe-trotting showcases for which the group has become widely known. Ardent digging and long, mesmerizing DJ-sets are central to their craft; they fabricate a musical space for the audience to get lost in, the adventure going as far and deep as the collective imagination will allow. To put it simply: they know how to throw a party and make you feel right at home. 

Each release on the label invokes a timestamp of their intersections and environment, resulting in collaborations with Primary Perception, Basement Space, and Paolo Mosca, to name a few. Strains of jazz, breaks, and ambient music inflect Slow Life’s singular sound with a charismatic balance of discerning taste and approachability.

Slow Life is about taking time and the unhurried rhythm of evolution. Music as a celebration of music. No rush, no pretense, no limitations — only deep work, positive expression, and playful experimentation.
