Jorkes returns home with new EP 'Sodomy'. It comes with remixes from Chinaski and Man Power and artwork and photography by Daniel Rajcsanyi. 

German-born but Austria-based Jorkes has been riding high on a wave of creativity recently with notable outings on top labels Permanent Vacation and Live At Robert Johnson. They are the latest releases in a long line that mix up sensuous disco, rough-edged house music and plenty of culturally engaging sounds in between. As a result, she sits at the forefront of the underground as a DJ, promoter, producer and radio host who centers gender, queer and egalitarian issues in her work. 

Opener 'Sodomy' is a deep and steamy rhythm with whispered vocals drawing you into an intimate atmosphere. Acid lines rumble down low while blasts of synths add a stark counterpoint as the intensity grows and you find yourself riding on the crest of a rumbling techno wave. The brilliantly loose drums and percussion of 'Hotel Date' are overlaid with slick synth arps that encourage dancers to release their inner kinks. Guttural vocal sounds and dark wave vocals, the sound of spandex and lashings of acid all bring further life and energy to this sensual workout. The brilliant trio of originals closes with the loved-up 'Where Are You,' a deeper and more introspective track with synths radiating hope and happiness over romantic downtempo drums. 

'Hotel Date' gets remixed by Chinaski, a resident DJ at Robert Johnson and producer for labels like Running Back with a hooky synth sound that draws inspiration from his love of soundscapes and cinematography. He brings 80s synth vibes to his soaring and glistening future-retro disco workout. Man Power remixes 'Sodomy' and is one of the most versatile artists in the scene. The Me Me Me label head does it all from dark disco to raw techno on a tasteful range of outlets while playing the most cultured parties. Here he lays down heavy but rubbery drums that build the pressure with sensuous vocals and taught synth phrases driving home the groove.

The prolific Karolina Bnv returns to Wrong Era with 'Yet To Come' an industrial-infused, masterful exploration deeper into her ever unfolding sound. The sophisticated follow-up to 'Lessons On Good Behaviour' further enrichens our experience of her world. Opening with 'Unforgivable Decisions, ' an aptly named track that holds its own amongst the industrial greats. Shimmering mechanisms and pulsating arps intertwine, building to harmonic swells and a ghostly vocal from the captivating tones of Karina Jilaz. 'Germany Calling' opens Karolina's new beat intrigue with focused arps circling beneath a commanding vocal loop chanting the track's title. Soft acid lines flutter across the mix, perfectly sitting on either side of the punctual snare.

'Context Abuse' bursts open the second half of the EP with defined bass and the distinct clattering of rimshots. A powerful homage to the sound of Belgium with refreshing flair. Karolina Bnv's sophisticated palette is in full force, with her unmistakably ear-pricking melodics and vocal lines. 'Yet to Come' closes with '1988' an infectious Acid House anthem that weaves between New-Beat and Detroit House. Karolina Bnv brings her sophisticated sounds and undeniable strengths to Wrong Era once again, broadening her horizons with skillful taste.

There are BRAVERS residents, Russian and foreign guests, united with their love for industrial music — Antoni Maiovvi (@antonmaiof)  from Bristol, WLDV (@wldv) from Bilbao, Velax (@iamvelax) from St. Petersburg and the resident of the Moscow label BRAVERS - Anton Levdikov (@antonlevdikov).

The cover was created by collecting different parts of faces: portraits of listeners, artists and members of the electronic music lovers. Everybody have its own distinctive features, but at the same time related for the one large community.
