Slow Slow

SLOW SLOW is a fruit of a series of creative activities of two men that is based on the
tempo and all the rest is a mixture of inspirations by various music genres.
We can hear amongst them a bit of nu jazz, trip-hop, dub, lounge, chillout. 
Performances take a form of a live act in which the most important element of increasing the tension
is improvisation. That improvisation introduces elements of unpredictability and
uniqueness.

Music to SLOW SLOW is being constructed live during the performance connecting the
newest digital technologies with the well-known, traditional and used in popular music
for years.

Modern virtual modular synthesis intertwines here with the sounds of the analogue
synthesizers from over 40 years ago and samplings techniques undergoing its full
bloom in the nineties giving unlimited possibilities and freedom in creation of the sound
spectrum.

Lukasz Borowiecki is a producer and multi - instrumentalist links the tradition with the passion for acoustic
instruments and is absolutely fascinated by the world of electronic music, experimental
and club music created using sophisticated tools and modern studio techniques that open
vast expanse for new means of expression.
Composer and producer of the song "Freeman" from "Rythm & Hymns" - the second album by the British band 'Mattafix'. Lukasz has formed popular Polish band "Jamal" and he is co - producer and co - composer of the album "Rewolucje" includes "Policeman". Composer of the song "Girlzz In trance rmx”, an album by Marika called „Put your shoes off”. Producer of "Ballada o baronie, niedźwiedziu i czarnej Helenie” by Artur Andrus and also of the many songs for Polish artists of the hip-hop/ reggae stage.
As a double bass player Lukasz Borowiecki is a prizewinner of jazz festivals, i.e. Grand Prix at Jazz
Festival at Czech’s Usti, and won the first prize at jazz standards competition in Siedlce,
Poland.

Mela Koteluk - young singer/ songwriter is best known for her soulful and dreamy voice.
The lyrics and music in her activity are equal in importance being treated with the same care.
Mela herself states 'when my creative work is finished the music doesn’t belong to me it belongs to whoever is listening, the listener gives their own definition'. Mela has participated and has gained subsequent recognition performing in such musical events as Agnieszka Osiecka Song Intrepretation Contest, The Art of Word Festival, FAMA – The Artistic Festival of Student Youth, tv competition „A Road To The Stars“.
She has collaborated with several artists from the Polish music scene.
