We are happy to welcome Leo Zen to All Crew Sessions for Volume 8, with an hour of top-notch Drum & Bass mixed with precision!

Born and raised in Japan, Leo Zen developed an intense passion for all things Bass at a young age. Originally immersing himself in the production side of music, he quickly discovered a knack for creating solid, grungy, hard basslines, incorporating deep melodic undertones that purveyed a sense of subtle urgency and emotion. Seeking to expand his knowledge and co-create with his peers, Leo decided to move to one of the bass capitals of the world, British Columbia. Upon arrival Leo quickly carved out a reputation for delivering extremely high-energy sets; consisting of original production, diverse mixing, captivating stage presence, and an uncanny timing that has annihilated dance floors from Canada to Costa Rica, and all over Europe. With releases on Druid Records, Really Good Recordings, and Aufect Recordings, he has solidified himself as one of the premier Drum N Bass producer/DJ's in Western Canada. Always learning and growing Leo continues to use music as his tool to express his experiences, proving there are no boundaries, with the goal to elevate minds through sound!

Submersion Festival 2023 (Full Set)

Evidently a rather switched on guy from Bristol, Culprate’s been touring the world off the back of his dubstep infused music for some time now. Reportedly inspired by Caspa & Rusko’s FABRICLIVE mix, after crowd sourcing the money to make his debut album, Deliverance, Culprate’s also proved himself adept at making styles of music that isn’t really all that intended for dancefloors. He’s worked hard to open up his scope and his remit and that’s what makes him a rather interesting prospect. So ahead of his appearance in Room One this Friday (3rd April) we asked him to make us a mixtape that could perhaps reflect just a little piece of where his music tastes are at right now…

kiD-Dee has been making some waves over the past year in and around Calgary, as one of the newest additions to the Come Correct Sound Crew this junglists’ distinct palate is lush and animated. Her diplomacy behind the decks is already garnering some serious attention from onlookers and this most recent mix she put together for us here at the Noctilux Collective is oozing with character. With some sharp selections from the likes of Skeptical, Hyroglifics, Sam Binga, Dub Phizix & others this compilation is a vision for anyone currently exploring the more minimal, spacious side of drum & bass. We decided to have a quick chat with kiD-Dee about her journey that led her behind the wheels and what’s new and exciting over the summer and beyond..
