Besides being the culprit behind our funny status updates and instagram captions, DJ Margerita is also somewhat well versed in electronic music. For his resident mix he wants to showcase his full arsenal of hidden treasures. 

The mix can be seen as a potpourri of deep & hypnotic techno, ”boot to the mouth” disco, hard hitting house and even a bit of his new found - well for him at least - passion in minimal. Add all this with some breaky bits as the cherry on top and you get a sense of where this jolly old fellows taste lies.

About Antonio :
At 15 I was a sound engineer in a private radio and I enjoyed mixing with old lenco turntables, spending hours and hours listening to old vinyls. At 18 I was already a resident DJ in the historic nightclub in my city called Papirus. I have always had a passion for unknown and not very commercial music and for some years this passion has become an obsession especially since I follow DJs of the caliber of E-Loud, Carlo Simula, Albion, Sasha Mambo and George Hysteric.

Acting as one half of the 4 man line-up in the Helsinki based collective, Free Shelter; Aake Kivalo and DJ Margerita are known for doing sets that explores a wide arrange of soundscapes. Known for the uploads on the collectives own youtube channel, their selections can vary from heartbreaking italo and mood lifting disco to ”eyes rolling back, jaws fall open” house. Even some cheeky zouk for that sunday morning if need be. For this mix however, they’ve selected some peak-time tunes that they’ll hopefully get to play when the dust settles. Pedal to the metal, and don’t look back.

Slow Fire Disco Machine is the alias behind Andrea Carassai and Giacomo Fiorani. Their friendship behind the decks started as Polyphonic, then became quickly something different giving birth to Slow Fire Disco Machine, an entity exploring sounds from the world with no restriction of genre, with eyes (and ears) to groove and good vibes.
When they're not digging or djing, SFDM runs a YouTube Channel where  they upload their finds  & edits.
They also curate the "Espresso"  monthly show on Rocket Radio Milano, where they often invite friends from all over the world
