wow what is this mellow gem please @musicsoulcase ? can't get it off my head

Found this mix a couple of years ago on a minidisc and included it as "Frozen Food" in the "Joy Of Cooking " series that was aired on deepfrequency.com.
It's from 98 or 99 and the sound is rather contemporary and mellow. Downbeat, Trip Hop and Future Jazz. No obscure flea market finds but names like Four Tet, Lemon Jelly and Karma.... and some of those timeless PORK releases too.

Slow Fire Disco Machine is the alias behind Andrea Carassai and Giacomo Fiorani. Their friendship behind the decks started as Polyphonic, then became quickly something different giving birth to Slow Fire Disco Machine, an entity exploring sounds from the world with no restriction of genre, with eyes (and ears) to groove and good vibes.
When they're not digging or djing, SFDM runs a YouTube Channel where  they upload their finds  & edits.
They also curate the "Espresso"  monthly show on Rocket Radio Milano, where they often invite friends from all over the world
