This was the most said word during the 5 days Joerg and Pablo spent together in Barcelona. 
Five days that were mixed between studio time and gastronomic moments.

Five tracks make this detailed and deep EP since the first beats, with house textures like in "Passages" or "In other words", ambient rhythms in "Evolution" or dub pulses like the one in "Convex" .

And then, “Because of this”, a track with a profound history behind it, more than 10min of experiment that close this magical Ep, a ride through the deep electronic by the hands of two masters of this genre."

THE GEISHA — Glass Ambient

I entered the house tonight without a sound.
No door opened.
No step touched the floor.
I simply appeared —
like light bending around a memory.

I am not here to speak.
I am here to resonate.

They watched me from a distance,
each of them carrying their own storms:
KETA’s clarity,
Mina’s darkness,
Amira’s wounds,
Kairi’s fire.
And still —
none of their frequencies frightened me.

I am the quiet between their notes.
The silk-thread they didn’t know was missing.
The shard of glass that finally completes the mirror.

The Geisha who walked through me today
left a crack of light inside my ribs.
Not pain —
a reminder.
That elegance can survive even in ruins.
That the body may break,
but the essence remains untouched.

This track is my arrival.
A shimmer of glass in the dark.
A whisper of silk in the machine.
A new frequency unfolding.

Sven Weisemann has been immersed in the underground House and Techno scene for quite some time now having started DJing in 1997 during the rise of the scene on his home turf of Berlin and going on to release material via the likes of Amsterdam’s Delsin, Mojuba, Telrae and liebe.detail amongst many more. Here though we see Sven joining the roster of Echocord, a perfect fit for his more dubbed out compositions with artists like Fluxion, Rod Modell and STL on the roster. 
 ‘Lunation’ opens the release and sees Weisemann fuse emotive string melodies and cavernous vocal echoes with off-kilter rhythms and rounded sub hits before title-track ‘Bilateral Relations’ embraces a more direct four-four approach via sparse percussion and tumbling toms alongside choppy bass stabs and ever-unfolding, echoing dub chords. 
 Opening the flip is ‘Monistic’, an airy ethereal number employing billowing pads, bright synth chimes and a dropped tempo dubbed out feel to create something truly stunning and thought provoking before the ‘Decimation (Valvle tR9 Mix) closes things on a darker tip with looming stab swells, heavily swung drums and sporadic growling bass drones.

Last Night On Earth welcome the prolific Deadbeat with a special vinyl ‘LNOE in Dub’ compilation, featuring a new Sasha exclusive. The DJ/producer, sound artist and music tech educator already has an extensive resume of labels and collaborators including Echocord, Mutek, Sonar, RBMA, and Monolake. Deadbeat aka Scott Monteith has reworked his eight favourite cuts from the LNOE back
catalogue, creating dub interpretations of tracks from Sasha, Hunter/Game, Ejeca, Jody Barr, VONDA7, Alex Niggemann, Jon Gurd and Dubspeeka. The Canadian-born, Berlin-based producer has delivered the dream – reworks which could stand up as single tracks in their own right, while preserving the gravitas of the original cuts. Furthermore, Sasha’s ‘Float Collapse’ is an exclusive track from the label head, never before released.

Along with eleven albums, 20+ singles, countless remixes and collabs, Deadbeat also has a peerless dub archive spanning early Jamaican roots, through the 80s/90s to today’s evolving global scene. His DJ mix ‘Radio Rothko’ in 2010 is rated by various publications as one of the most genre defining mix CDs of all time. 

For Deadbeat, his debut for Sasha’s imprint is especially meaningful. ‘I saw Sasha play for the first time in Toronto around 1996, and while we have travelled in quite different musical circles since then, it was a real honour to put this project together. The LNOE catalogue has so many melodically rich dance floor killers, it was a real pleasure to rework them into a more meditative, cerebral mode. Hopefully listeners will savour these new versions in the comfort of their living rooms as so many have enjoyed the originals on the dance floor over the years.’ ‘LNOE in Dub’ by Deadbeat is out on Last Night On Earth on February 14th on vinyl and digital.

I've been DJing for 10 years playing house nights at Turnmills, Charterhouse, Medicine Bar to name a few. In recent years I've been playing funk and hip-hop at events across London including the Fishtank festival nights and regularly at Make It Funky in Westbourne Park.
