Ousmane is a friend of ours here in Freiburg, where he came as a refugee in 2019. He first moved from the refugee reception centre in Freiburg to a shared accommodation in Offenburg. This year, he then had to move to Renchen near Offenburg. As he is doing his apprenticeship in Freiburg, this means a 3-hour commute there and back every day. Ousmane would like to move to Freiburg and friends of ours have organized a room in a shared flat for him. But as he can't give notice for his shared container room in Renchen, he has to pay two months' rent. We therefore want to use the profits from this EP to support Ousmane during this time. The overall donation target is €2000 so that he can pay the double rent for 6 months.

∎ @sepbtt is a co-founder of the @rutamp3 (Germany) and @neo-tropica (Colombia) collectives. SEPBTT is characterized by a percussive and tribal sound as well as the use of polyrhythmic kicks in his productions and sets. Drawing influences from genres such as hard drum, dembow, UK bass, and techno among others, his sound frequently integrates heavy percussions with sci-fi-sounding elements combined under cinematic and somewhat ritualistic atmospheres.

[Swine Premiere] Sepbtt - El Viaje Del Chigüiro (RUTA)

Entrañas presents their latest EP titled "Alboroto," a meticulous collection of four original tracks exploring the intersections between dembow and UK bass, heavily influenced by UK funky, guaracha, and bassline, channeling the energy from Ecuador's capital onto the global club scene.

Opening the EP is "Soplado," inspired by the Ecuadorian expression describing the swift pace of urban life, blending guaracha, dembow, and UK funky. It sets the tone with its dynamic portrayal of urban speed. Following is "Alboroto," a blend of dembow rhythms and UK funky, distinguished by its robust bassline influenced by grime and UK bass. "Agachadito" merges guaracha, UK funky, and breaks with oscillating basslines evoking the hustle of street food stalls in Ecuador. Closing the EP is "Rabiosa," offering an intense amalgamation of guaracha, dembow, and UK funky, capturing the energy of contemporary club music.

The EP is complemented by four remixes from El Irreal Veintiuno, Lyo XS, Octoptic, and Nuevo Prohibido, each contributing their unique interpretations, enriching Entrañas' sonic proposal. All tracks have been masterfully mastered by Imaabs, ensuring impeccable sound quality.
