Super fun! I love the story to go along with this! According to storytelling formulas, we just got to the resistance of the call to adventure - that's the resolution - very funny! :D - while the song feels more like an extended story.

This ending part makes me suposse that Elvis had a happy return to the real life and he never wanted to know more about Ruliad and about eat dead rats

Quintessential OSc track, this. A most excellent demonstration of what can be done with straight up OctaSine. And fun and engaging music to boot. Very well done indeed, imo.

Nice callback to your melody/motiv. In my opinion the great melodic elements in your track make it enjoyable even for people who are not so much into experimental soundscapes (like me :P) Nice track with a lot of great sound design, well done :)

Elvis The Poodle woke up in a strange land where everything was patterns on a grid.  He knew he shouldn't have eaten that dead frog he found behind the shed.

Then the Dog-Angel Wolfram came down from high and spake thus: "Energy is the flux of causal edges through space-like hyper-surfaces".

Elvis wondered how he would have a proper nap in a place like this. 
"Where am I, Dog-Angel Wolfram"?

"All universes are just patterns on a hyper-graph.  Each universe has it's own updating rule.  You have now stepped outside, to the space of all possible rules - the RULIAD".

Elvis thought this was all very nice, but he decided to have a nap and wait for that frog to go through him.  He wasn't sure he wanted to be a Poodle In The Ruliad.

Oh-Din My MIDI is on Fire - OSC#197 - ODIN2

This is my submission to the #kvraudio #OneSynthChallenge #197 featuring the VST Synth Odin 2 by The Wave Warden

All sounds are coming from the Synth acompanied by a number of moderate tone shaping, mixing and mastering fx. I Mix/Master with MeldaProduction EQ/Compressor, Auburn Lense, Loudmax Limiter. All fx free or built into the DAW. DAW is Bitwig 5.3.x. No Samples. No Postprocessing after the audio export.

Odin 2 -  by The Wavewarden, now with an updated interface.

The sound of this 24-voice polyphonic beast will take you from your studio right to Valhalla! There are three oscillators whose types include analog, wavetable, vector, chiptune, FM, phasemod and noise. Waveforms can also be hand drawn. These can be routed through up to three excellent filters with all the usual types plus comb, formant and ring modulator. For modulation there are envelopes, LFO's, an  x-y pad and an arpeggiator, along with a mod-matrix  for easy routing. The FX section includes delay, phaser, flanger, chorus and reverb, all of which can be easily reordered using drag and drop. The interface is an intuitive semi-modular design, making sound design easy and fun. Odin 2 is free, powerful, fun, and available for Mac/Windows and Linux.

What does the title/pic mean? 
I have had many dreams throughout my life about finding hidden doors that lead to magical places. The picture is of a abandoned stairway in a house I lived in for a few years in college. Leads to the backside of a refrigerator. I had dreams about that house, that there were secret floors burrowed back into the hillside, etc. And at one point years later I couldn't remember if this abandoned stairway really was there or I just dreamed it.

Anyway making this triggered another of that type of dream.

This month was a real challenge!

When I looked at Odin, I came up with the idea of a true One (!) Synth Challenge – just a single instance, no excuses.
I dove deep into sound design and quickly realized: this would become a real borderline experience.

While endlessly tweaking, I kept discovering new sonic paths – sometimes inspiring, sometimes frustrating.
Odin could be pretty temperamental when dealing with MIDI, but in the end, I managed to shape something that feels raw, tense, and expressive.

So here it is: Grenzerfahrung (borderline experience) –
a track born from limitation, chaos, and way too many hours. ;)
