Ice Breath Rising

The Night Mick j. stood up for Prince
Prince was the opening act for the  Rolling Stones at the LA Coliseum.  He was not well-known on the West Coast, and when he took the stage wearing a bikini top, G-String, & Black  Boots.  Some started shouting slurs at him, others were throwing bottles, and there was a chorus of loud boos  Prince walked off the stage and vowed he would never return. 

Mick Jagger knew he had to help Prince get back on stage, even after the traumatic event, or it could  ruin his career. Before Prince took the stage, Mick J. spoke to the audience in a way that felt like it was one-on-one. He told them how the experience really shook him up and rocked his confidence, and asked the audience if they liked what they heard, would they be willing to stand up and cheer? The audience. affirmed that they would, and Prince took the stage, played with power, precision, and emotion, and the crowd rose up to give him a standing ovation.

He was the opener for the Rolling Stones,
 On the West Coast Prince was not well-known.
 He took the stage in trench coat, black boots, and G-String-bikini—

This track grew out of reading about the long-shot quest to bend space itself. I’d been deep in my usual late-night exploration, shaping loops, letting the system wander, and following whatever small spark rose out of the noise. The warp-drive idea slipped into the groove without me planning it, the way those stories about bending distance and time feel both wild and strangely familiar. Instead of trying to explain anything, I built a pulse that hints at a world folding around you as you dance. It’s all about possibility rising one shift at a time.

For so long
I searched the world
to find my twin.

The year of rainbows 
brought him to me.
But not as one -
he came as three.

Fated encounters
on the threshold
between worlds,
felt to the marrow,
shaking me 
from root to crown.
They made me fly,
burn, collapse, expand,
refining every cell in me.

The fire serpent 
awakened in the selva
conjured the Shadow twin.
Haloed in darkness,
danger, mystery.
My serpent brother
led me into the underworld,
to deep-buried, fiery nests,
where mighty Phoenix birds
rise, self-born, from their ashes.

The Solar twin
revealed himself 
in bright daylight,
his own flame ignited
by Shakti’s dance 
of power and creation.
The radiant one
was gifted by a muse
an enchanted lock
and braided it forever 
into my golden hair.

My Cosmic twin
came forth
all dressed in white,
beating the drum,
opening for me
holy paths of ascent.
My winged brother
arrived as Mercury,
to share with me
his pneuma,
so I might awaken 
into insight, 
service, flight -
and the purest heart.

All three left me
wandering, like a ghost,
in fractured dreamlands,
until my fiery tears
burned away every illusion.
They did not vanish,
but claimed 
their rightful thrones
within my inner kingdom.

The year of rainbows
brought me my twins
and took them away,
one by one,
so they are woven back
into the numinous tapestry 
of my being,
and I become whole.

I welcome you back,
my wandering twins:
flesh of my flesh,
flame of my fire,
breath of my Soul.
