This is a song initally exploring gender dysphoria and heteronormativity, comparing it to a mental prison. I then started expanding to looking at the political context of my emotions, and how much of my dysphoria is symptomatic of social conditioning. As the track builds, so does my anger. Eventually Gao joins in to point the finger at the root: capitalism, patriarchy and white supremacy.

This is the first single from my upcoming album, "DAMAG3", which will explore this topic and many more in detail.
