The sixth and final song from my EP "Data.Stream".
Timeout has an almost anticlimatic ending and background noises reminiscent to certain preceeding songs. Whereas the first song sounds like a gradual connection is being made, I would describe this one as a moment of parting. In this regard it is supposed to be an antithesis to Handshake. With its almost unexpected abrupt ending, the name Timeout felt more than appropriate to me!
I hope you will enjoy this unusual ending and have had fun listening to my EP. I will make sure to upload more in the future.

Timeout [Eoatka]

The fifth song from my EP "Data.Stream".
This song is pretty much what it says in the title: Buffer.
It connects the fourth and sixth song to ensure the flow in the album and prevent a radical change in style and pace. Strictly seen it is a filler song, an extension of Packet Loss as it references its leitmotif while also introducing the synth of the upcoming song. In a way its slight interruption felt like buffering in streams to me, further justifying its name.
It is the shortest song on my EP, barely passing the 1:30 mark, but I hope you will enjoy it nonetheless!

Buffer [Fiwit]

The fourth song from my EP "Data.Stream".
Packet loss is indeed what this initially felt like after creation. When I listened to the final result it felt like something was missing, but at the same time not. This apparent imperfection, if you can call it so, felt just right and made its charme.
Its synth arpeggio struggles to establish itself in the beginning, as a vibrating synth takes on the lead with a progression that feels like it has gaps. But at some point this vibrato will gradually lose dominance as the arp manages to break through and finally establish itself over the vibrating synth, allowing it to take on its full shape and uphold a consistent melody. I'm curious what your impression is going to be!

The third song from my EP "Data.Stream".
It's certainly the one with the most vivid pace. Whereas the other songs are more of a fluent evolution without any proper beat, this one keeps building a steady yet weird tact while evolving gradually.
I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I had fun with its creation!

The second song from my EP "Data.Stream".
This song is adaptive in many ways:
From its motif changing ever so slightly to a representation of the thoughts I had at the time of creation. During the recent months prior to the release of this EP and through 2020 many of us had to adapt to a new life standard. Just like a stream needs to be as efficient and flexible as possible to ensure a gauranteed playback, so did many of us have to be as well.

Adaptive Bitrate [Peltajt]

The first song from my EP "Data.Stream".
A virtual handshake in many ways and the one that kicked off the creation of this EP. Its atmosphere reminded me of a call sign on a landline, which in turn made me think of dial up and gave me the idea to center this album's theme around data streams.
I hope you will enjoy this handshake of mine! Oh and this song's work file has 27 BPM.
