Music suffered a huge loss late last night/early this morning... We lost Phife Dawg of ATCQ & Native Tongues to health issues. Just like everyone else, I've been listening to Tribe all day and stumbled across these Native Tongues mixes I did for my people over at So Much Soul Clothing a few years back and figured I'd upload them. This is a super rare recording of one of Quest's last shows together on UK soil. The improvisation, live beat-making and freestyles are just amazing, really representing the golden era of this genre. The outstanding documentary 'Beats Rhymes & Life - Travels of a tribe called Quest reminded us of the genius but to hear a full live show with all the classics is something else...
