Illvis Freshly is one of the west coast’s most established bands, bringing golden era vibes, funky basslines, smooth rhymes, and feel-good afternoon notions. Finding Illvis Freshly playing a daytime set at a reggae festival or primetime at the craziest festival is equally probable.
Made up of Doc Zoo, Mike Cooper, Mt. Doyle, Phillionaire, and Danimal House, Illvis Freshly knows how to start, annihilate, and wrap a party, although “Wheel Up” is more suited for the annihilation phase of the show.
A DnB classic through and through, “Wheel Up” features a catchy bassline, smooth vocals, and fun lyrics that give listeners hints of Chali 2Na and Beastie Boys.
