this has kicked the blues... feelin spunky now

the latest release from 'cosmic conspiracy records'.
it's out now on beatport, itunes, juno, and all them other good online music spots... except addictech, they don't like psy.  :/
so pumped for this release; it's a doozie!

so how's this for a concept?
tripinstumble (head of cosmic conspiracy) approaches 9 producers and asks them to select "a creature or animal whose existence has yet to be proven or confirmed by science" and write a track based around it.
i chose the classicly australian 'bunyip' as the creature to base my track on.
here are the results of my research into the field of cryptozoology.
but does the bunyip really exist?

slytrance - bunyip (SAMPLE)

the intention is to create an inner-space within the listener, for them to explore their own minds and challenge their internal programing.
thicc bass-lines; brain-bending synthwork; dreamy melodies; peppered with vocal samples to inspire ideas; all coalescing to create a fresh approach to a sadly diluted genre.

it aims to re-mystify. each sound purposefully crafted to guide the listener's journey through both black AND white, while still leaving enough grey room for personal interpretation. it can be challenging and confronting, but at the same time strangely comforting, and very human.

that's the intention. what do YOU hear?
