Originally put together and posted after seeing him for the last time in Ibiza in 1993 I  repost this mixtape dedicated to a man who's work has inspired me since I was a young teenager and continues to touch my soul.

It started with a Fisher Price turntable, upgraded at seven to a Philips 614 (still spinning, by the way). I hustled hard through the 80’s to build a vinyl collection—Philly soul, Salsoul, Donna Summer, Shep Pettibone… and then came house.

From dodgy gay clubs to a rainy night at The Hacienda, the soundtrack of my life found its groove.
