Beast Jane (living in Cambridge, UK) is a very well-known Drum and Bass DJ from the Czech Republik, placing 2nd in the 2022 Bass Awards and winning “Best Video Set” for her performance at Boomtown Fair. With her roots in Prague, she’s been obsessed with DNB since 2014, specializing in a deep, dark and technical underground sound, while blending in bits of Jungle, Deep Dubstep, Techno and UKG. 

She is a former resident of the Darkshire Crew and of Chapeau Rouge. Beast Jane launched her own club night called Bass Overdose before the pandemic. Now she is also actively working with DnB Portal and Bass Portal, pushing the Czech scene forward while also drawing influences from both, the Czech Scene as well as UK bass culture.

The night was darker than usual.

Driven not by the light but by the mood of Paperclip. 

As he sat in his favourite spot on the balcony, the place he called Sueta, his ‘usual’ place, he mused at his feelings.

He bowed his covered head speaking the neurofunk forever plainchant.

Something he grasped from a young age calling on the magical spirits that he inherited from his father, and his father’s fathers through the mystical ages. 

As he took a long drink of his concoction, the mystical advances to the future with the old powers of the past had more clarity now.

He saw it....It is coming.

The recital never ends!

Off the back of our mammoth Chapter 3 Compilation that was a huge celebration of our artists and music throughout 2024, We kick start 2025 in a big way and introduce the biggest label debut we have had to date.

He is and has been the backbone of the Russian Drum and bass movement since the early 00s.

Whether that be putting out high quality Neurofunk and Tech DNB on his Paperfunk Recordings label or it being championing the next wave of talent through the Neuropunk academy. Paperclip (Or Pavel to his friends) has cemented himself as a `Hall of fame` worthy artist within drum and bass.

His output to give back to the music we live is unmatchable and the music he puts out is incomparable.

A true pioneer and a pleasure for us to host him as our first release of 2024.
