What with it being a new year, it's time for a new Small Colin release.  This time out its an original Small Colin track and 4 remixes.   http://rec72.net/?p=3056

The main track started out as an experiment using 2-3 single notes and plenty of reverbs & delays.  After very little time at all, a full 3 minutes and 40 seconds of music was written, mixed & mastered.  

Next came the logical progression of asking several old friends to re-imagine the song in their eyes/ears.  We have versions coming from all over the globe* in various styles & genres.   *when I say globe, I mean Europe

First up is…Adi Carter (England).  The man does remixes in his sleep. And is possibly the most prolific producer I know.

Second is…Poly (Germany).  A girl with a unique & beautiful voice. She makes melodramatic, electronic, space fiction fairytale pop music.

Thirdly we have…Logec (Scotland).  A teenager from Scotland who lives now in Lund, Sweden.  Has nice hats.

And the fourth and final remix is performed by Sound29 (Hungary).  A very talented artist/producer with a love for analogue sound.

Mutations

After finding something he’d been looking for in an untidy room, Small Colin left Scotland and went to Jönkoping (that’s in Sweden) to make music for people to listen to before, after and during designing furniture. This is however not the only reason, it is also intended to impress his girlfriend and her friends. From his studio thru the medium of music Small Colin has already taken someone out of a coma, prevented 27 suicides, caused 3, mended 16789674 broken hearts, and persuaded one of gods angels out of having an abortion. He now lives on James Bond Island and has heirs to his throne in the form of a small volcano & a book about mythology.
