While paradise-colored birds chirp from the trees and the moss-green lianas rustle to the beat of the wind, our boat glides gently down on the waves of the river. The symphony of the jungle enchants us with its very own harmony, chaotic and yet perfectly in tune.

Suddenly a pair of shining eyes piles up in the shallows of the water, followed by a monumental mouth full of crooked, grinning teeth. Amazed and curious, we recognize the silhouette of a hippopotamus that, with wobbling ears, tells us to follow its path.

Fascinated by the wild power of nature, we lag behind our new friend, while we hear a soothing sound from the distance, accompanied by a tremendous shaking of the earth.

As we slowly get closer to the scenery, we can hardly believe our eyes: an entire horde of hippos wiggles their hips up and down to the mesmerizing sound of a trumpet. Moved by this sight, we thank our friend and let ourselves carry away by the music.

The story above describes quite well the feelings we had in mind, while we first listened to the two tracks of the sympathetic swiss duo @okuma-sounds. It was clear to us, that an EP had to be the result of this experience.

@moonsvoyagerlive, @jpattersson, @kermesselive and @kusht-music complement this tale with their beautiful interpretations. We want to thank all artists involved in this great release as well as Kilian Van de Water for the refreshing artwork and @haunted_water for the smooth mastering.

Recorded over four years on islands of the Pacific & Indian ocean to raise awareness of climate change. The songs were created as an artist representing their homeland and heritage shared a song recorded in nature. Then we (Tim & BaoBao) took the song to another island for another artist to add a layer to and another song to the songline. It all grew this way, using only traditional instruments and languages.

'Zoli Lepok' is a song written and composed by Emlyn ( Emmelyne Marimootoo) talking about her childhood in Mauritius, her island and games that are now disappearing because of the new technologies, all sorts of gadjets, Ipads and smartphones are now more familiar to kids than street games. Recorded along with the bluesman Eric Triton on guitar-lele and Norbert Planel on percussions and backing vocals.

She recently released her new album entitled Ivory Castanets available to the public shortly via Cinematic Music Group. His album is perfect for the summer, perfect to listen to on a sunny afternoon on a terrace or for warm evenings spent outside by the fire. His album gives a new colour to the soul that we recognize in the choice of numerous and diversified instruments. The themes addressed are at times bonasses and at other times shouting, which gives a very personal character to the artist. She sings for herself, for the pleasure of the music and the sensations it gives her, and you can hear it in her lyrics and voice intonations. My &quot;chouchou"; song from the album is undoubtedly Mama Said with its rocking melody, but also catchy and very bohemian. Cat Clyde will appeal to folk lovers above all, but also to all those who love an album where softness and rhythm are perfectly combined.
