Love Shines Up New Every Time version 2.0 - work in progress ROUGH! - 20101006

Just nylon guitar and voice: no plectrums, no overdubs, no editing, recorded warts and all, usually on the unique Calrec Soundfield Mic by Ambisonix. 
Deep down I'm still an old blues rocker but I've always had prog, jazz and classical yearnings. Some years ago I put down the black SG, eBayed my Marshalls and broke away from the limitations of  playing in bands. Now I can capture the sounds I've been hearing in my head for decades. I'm going through this metamorphosis at a time of life when the learning muscles are perhaps beginning to atrophy and it hasn't been easy. Never mind - the freedom to follow complexity or simplicity at will - to agonise down to the last detail or slap about with complete abandon  is a blast of fresh air - very cold air sometimes  -  playing as solo is as naked as you can get without taking your clothes off.
