This week we're back in Switzerland for another killer deep and tech mix courtesy of Baryon!

Introduced to electronic music in the early 90s, Baryon developed a fundamental attachment for sonic exploration. He was spotted by the scene in several cities and became an active participant of their underground parties. 

Over the years, Baryon has broadened his musical spectrum, exploring a variety of genres. Immersing his listeners in the deep sounds of theearly days and highlighting their links with more contemporary achievements will be hisgreatest pleasure.

Zusammen mit seinen Co-KapitänInnen des Ahoii Clubs schippert er seit mehr als 10 Jahren durch das Freiburger Nachtleben, stets mit dem Fokus auf elektronische Musik mit vielen Synthie, Italo und 80er Elementen. Jedes Mal anders und dennoch vertraut werden die elektronischen Genres vermischt und neu aneinander gereiht - immer mit dem Ziel auf der perfekten Tanzroute durch die Nacht zu paddeln.

@quick-weave (Jalen Dilosa) was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. He recalls being first introduced to House music in high school, when one day his then-girlfriend pulled up to his house blasting Crystal Waters’ Gypsy Woman from the car. The sound wasn’t unfamiliar to Jalen, whose grandmother and uncle were gospel singers in the famed Zion Harmonizers. Growing up steeped in the Gospel and Soul-Jazz roots of New Orleans, both often defined by powerful female vocals, Gypsy Woman represented a new context for a familiar feeling. Since this early introduction, Quickweave has been honing a unique House sound which centers feminine energy and vocals backed by tough, swung drums.
