VH: Hi Minseok (@koesnimik), nice to have you on board. You live in Seoul. How would you describe your daily environment? Is it a pleasant place for an artist?

M: Since I'm still studying, I usually attend classes during the day on weekdays and work in the evenings. These days, the weather in Seoul is so nice and the public bike system called 따릉이 is well developed, so I ride it every day! I'm not sure what it's like to be an artist, but living in Seoul, everything can be an inspiration or a cliché depending on how you look at it. It may feel like a very complicated city because a lot of people live together in a small space, but because of that you can meet all kinds of different people. I think it's a very attractive city because you can experience nature by walking a bit away from all the big buildings, and feel a different vibe in every area of Seoul!

VH: It was really great to meet you and smoke a cigarillo with you! We met at Clique Record in Seoul, tell me about this record store, also known as a bar.

M: Clique Record/The Edge is one of my favorite places in Seoul. You can experience a variety of fun vinyl music in this space that turns into a record store during the day and a bar at night! I'm so glad I get to work here with people I really like. If you want to get some good energy on your trip to Seoul, you should stop by here :)

VH: What can you say about the set/mix? Perhaps you can describe the setting it was recorded in?

M: On the first track you hear people whistling and clapping, and it's not a cheer that you can easily hear in life, but it's a very pleasant sound, so I started with that track. The mix itself didn't have much meaning, but I wanted to enjoy different genres of music I like together. From 70s film music to reggae, dub, downtempo, electro and ambient. And it was really fun to look back at the vinyl I gradually collected during the recording process!

VH: Any plans, wishes or anything else for the near future that you'd like to share maybe?

M: I want to do yoga or meditation with my friends while listening to ambient/quiet music in nature, and if we want to dance, I want to dance while listening to techno or antyhing....
