We continued our Summer journey into the outrageously implausible, if not downright impossible world of 1990's suspense thrillers.  By the third act most of the these films lose any tethering to known reality altogether.  "Love Is a Gun" and "Love, Cheat & Steal" were two examples examined.  Books were covered and a mention of Stanley Kubrick arose.

Vladimir Kamarov was a Russian Cosmonaut and best friends with Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space. In 1967 he chose to fly an dangerously unprepared Soyuz capsule into space so that his friend, Yuri, would not have to go. Vladimir knew this was a suicide mission and as he plunged to his death radio transmissions heard him crying in rage as his capsule burned up in the atmosphere.
