It's been a very promising couple of years for the Brussels based artist noc:turne. Since we were first introduced to his captivating music on a boat party in north London in the summer of 2022 he has gone on to play gigs across Europe, launch a record label 'Lost In Translation' and most recently release a stunning remix on the highly respected Swiss imprint 'Project Indigo'. We're not quite sure where doing an Oleeva Podcast lands on this scale of notable achievements, but he's done one nonetheless and its quite something. For our fourth release, we welcome Basel-based producer Ben Kaczor. ‘To Baby Bones’ showcases the tracks produced as part of Ben’s first live set presented at Above Below Festival in 2024. 

Written as a homage to a loved one, the title track of the EP is a gentle soundscape traveling through memories and subtle body shivers, far away yet never out of heart’s reach. ‘Bridge’, as if hung high above, suffuses the air with a thick emotional haze, lifting slowly as a walk along a fragile structure ends. Wistfully transforming present into past, ‘This Blue Light’ melds with the orange glow of the sun and dissolves into a white cloud. Driving and fizzy 'Punchbag’ brings all the dreamers down to earth. Immersing them straight into the buzzing front left, it buoyantly concludes an ode to the melody of life and the joy of a loving heart — To Baby Bones.

the dust has only just settled on summer 2025, with cosy season being invited in with a warm embrace and we’re already looking back fondly at the memories made and the dancefloors shared across the past three months. one of those moments is the idyllic kune festival who we will be teaming up with for the next few weeks to share sets and stories from their fifth edition. for the first time ever, they’ve filmed some of these moments to be shared with you all, taking a deeper glimpse into the scenes, sounds and style of this stunning weekend. 

kune is nestled within one of europe’s most unique festival locations, ungdomsøen, a former sea fortress turned cultural playground that is just 30 minutes by boat from copenhagen. historic bunkers become listening rooms, old stone courtyards turn into dancefloors and the sea-facing hills offer a moment of respite from the stimulating surroundings. creating an isolated utopia that fully allows their guests to escape from the hustle and bustle of their normal lives, kune has quietly grown over the last five years, drawing a crowd of open-minded individuals that nurtures and pushes arts and culture forward. this is created through their diverse musical programming that caters to the curious with this year’s lineup featuring loek frey, woody92, peachlyfe, hewan aman, hannah d, sunju hargun, martinou, sybil, shjva, reptant and more alongside a packed arts and activities programme. 

so welcome to the world of kune festival. 

for the first edition of this takeover we have berlin-via-denmark dj and promoter tania just, one of the co-founders of the esteemed party series, fandango. moving to berlin in 2014, tania was introduced to the playful sensibilities and spirited mindset of the city’s nightlife scene. finding her crew who showed her the ropes and all that the city had to offer, tania cut her teeth in the local scene by attending the legendary cocktail d’amore parties at the shuttered griessmuehle, learning everything she needs to know about this new world she was being introduced to. drawing from these influences, tania is known for sleazy basslines, dreamy vocals, and cheeky twists that blur the lines between ‘90s house, early tech house, and progressive cuts.

since moving to berlin, she has gone on to run the gorgeous fandango parties alongside dave murrin and mark gill, which has quickly become a cornerstone in the local scene. i ended up at one of their parties spontaneously a few summers ago, arriving early in the morning to catch ccl warming things up for the day ahead and it was one of my fondest memories of that season, dancing throughout the day and exploring all the cute little nooks their unique location has to offer (kindred spirits with kune perhaps?) 

speaking about kune, this year, tania played the serene beach stage and touching on her relationship with the festival, she says, “i love kune! i first went 4 years ago, and it really opened my eyes to a more open-minded and diverse side of denmark that i had never experienced before. i met a lot of people there who today are close friends of mine, so it meant a lot to be invited to play this year.”

Andreas Henneberg – Mountain (Album 2013)
“Mountain” is his first solo-album containing 18 tracks influenced through the experiences of more than 17 years of working with electronic dance music. You can find Andreas behind the scenes since the mid 90’s as a producer, label owner, mastering-engineer and of course as a DJ. Even if he is born, raised and still living in Berlin the tracks are not colored by the typical Berlin minimal & house sound. 
Acute modeling and oscillating synthesizers are sneaking across the album from track to track, shaping a homogeneous line although different genres are abounding.  
Deep and dynamic bass lines in combination with expressive groove programming and self-played percussion, gives the entire album a vigorous touch.
These final works are the result of 1,5 years producing, deleting, rearranging, live testing, hating and loving a huge amount of tracks he did within the context of the creation process.
The release is just in time for the 10th year anniversary of his record label “Voltage Musique” and a big milestone in his career as well.
