This is one of the first full rap songs I ever wrote, it was around four years ago. I put it out to a beat on soundcloud several years ago but took it down for quality control reasons, I finally got linked up with Amot through our mutual rapper friend NKNGS and got just the type of beat this song needed. The song is basically an ode to a girl I spent five years with and will never forget about, I treated her horribly, I mean really bad, my stomach turns when I think about it, the pain I feel from the loss has only been pacified by the thought of her having something better,,, better than what I knew, or what she had became accustomed to throughout her life. I'm barely better as a person now and still have so much growing to do, but can't thank her enough for the time, memories, and life lessons I hope to take to my grave. A sick sad part of me wants this to get everywhere on the ether webs for the soul purpose of her hearing it, and understanding how I feel.  like I said, a little sad right? haha

I wrote this song 2-3 years ago while living in Fayetteville Arkansas, selling c.d's on Dickson st. and staying in a big blue house writing music, smoking weeds, making love, and bringing back organic produce on the regs. It was a really amazing summer.  Dubz was doing lots of shows in the electronic scene there and after running into each other several times we knew that we had to work together in some way. Timeless was the first song we released together, and we had a really great response from it getting it in rotation at 104.9 "The X" and all around town through my shameless c.d sales. Alot has changed since I've moved to Seattle and I have alot of material from Arkansas that I may or may not ever release, I felt like I had to make an exception with this one though, so many people asked me to do another song with Dubz it'd almost be a crime not to.  so, here is the second release from Smar-t Jones and Dubz.
