I was asked to open up the night for the November edition of DNBID's monthly residency in Chicago. Happy to do it, but even happier to find out I was opening for Random Movement, whose records are definitely in my bag at all times. Toyacoyah is an avid record collector that has been DJing since the late 90s. While her musical collection consists of hip hop, freestyle, and Prince records, her main love is drum n’ bass. Her sets lean towards the jazzier, soulful, liquid funk side of drum n’ bass, but she can drop some heavy hitters when necessary.

"During lockdown, my husband and I turned to Twitch to stream and chat with other DJs and fellow music lovers across the world.
