Introducing you to our new monthly format, Pass & Play. We’ve called it Smash & Grab Radio so it’s only right that we actually have a radio show style format. One microphone between the two of us and some decks. Rolling tunes and a bit of chat. 

A chance for us to share the tunes we’ve been listening to recently, to tell you a bit about them and why we like them. To actually think about why we like the music we like, to learn about how they’re made and who they’re made by. A chance for us to talk about music, for you to think about music and maybe learn a thing or two, add one of them to your playlist if you fancy.

It’s a feeling we’re trying to evoke when you’re hanging out with your mates and playing music, and chatting shit, it works in every scenario: at work, on the train, in the kitchen. Play a song, pass the headphones and the microphone. You get the gist.

Well, here it is. 2024 is wrapping up. It's been a pretty good year at Smash & Grab. Though we feel like we're only just getting started, we've recorded some stuff we're really proud of, explored some new formats and played some amazing shows. If you've listened to any of it, danced at any point or even added a song to your rotation - THANK YOU. 

We wanted to get one last Pass & Play in. Not just as an opportunity to get a few Christmas songs in, but also to act as a bit of a round up. Reflect on a few of our favourite tracks of the year, pave the way for 2025 with a few predictions and more or less do what we do best, chat shit, hang out and play tunes.
