“The Ruse of Booze” is a raw, unflinching ballad about addiction’s grip and the battle to reclaim the self. Through gritty imagery and soul-baring lines, it paints the bottle as a sly salesman, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and a devil at the door — seducing and destroying in equal measure. With each verse, the narrator wrestles with guilt, memory, and fleeting moments of clarity, only to be dragged back into the cycle. Dark, bluesy, and haunting, this song is a confession, a lament, and a fight for redemption.

Ruse of Booze

Brau is an Alternative Rock solo project created by David Gabriel in the summer of 2012' .

Beginning of 2015 I released in Bandcamp  two EP's,  "BRAU" and "Time is a Circle", plus one album called  "Level 3 Seduction".

After five years,  in October 2020 I published in bandcamp & SoundCloud two new albums, "Golden Apples" and "Lightball" .

BRAU was the name of my dog when I was a child .
