Eran Hersh is a name that needs no introduction at this point in his career, the Miami based DJ/producer first started his music journey in 2001 further up the east coast in New York. Fast forward to present day and Hersh has released on labels like Insomniac Records, Hurry Up Slowly, MOSOTM, and other industry-leading platforms, as well as performed all over the world at some of the biggest and best events in USA, Spain, France, Germany, Sweden and more.

With even longer in the industry, electronica duo York, comprised of Torsten and Jörg Stenzel, provide their seasoned expertise on ‘Wema’. Originally starting in 1997, York quickly became a sensation in the subgenre circles the pair occupied, as their debut release ‘The Awakening’ rose to chart success in 1998 and since then the duo have not looked back. With countless singles, EP’s and albums under their belt, in 2024, York are a legendary outfit in the trance/progressive/electronica space.

Popping out on his Smash The House offshoot label Green Room, Like Mike enlists the help of Jalal Ramdani, Stevo Atambire, Yeronimo and The Wild Child on this synthy deep house anthem ‘Wala’.

‘Wala’ is an all-encompassing celebration of the tribal, deep and progressive sound which has become so popular in recent times, Like Mike continues to impress with his solo work and this release is no exception to the rule. The all-star team of producers expertly blend their individual influences together to produce a piece of music that not only ticks all of the deep/progressive boxes, but also incorporates a unique big room twist within the grandiose synths housed in the drop.

Like Mike, one half of a DJ Mag #1 DJ group with brother Dimitri Vegas, as well as label boss and award-winning music producer, is a name that needs no introduction at this point his career. Aside from his world-renowned work with Dimitri, Like Mike is also recognised globally for his solo work, in which his sound is currently geared towards this progressive sound evident in ‘Wala’. Tracks like ‘Alive’ and ‘Nothing Else Matters’ show the emotive and soulful route Like Mike is currently on, introducing a whole new production skillset to his arsenal.

With such a vast array of talent on display, it’s amazing five musical talents all with differing influences and skillsets can come together so coherently on one track. As main collaborator, Jalal Ramdani brings his signature progressive sound to the table, a sonic profile that has earned him support from huge artists in the scene like Black Coffee, Keinemusik and Dixon. The Moroccan-born but London-based producer has been making waves with releases like ‘Marrakech’ on MoBlack and ‘Together’ on ABRACADABRA. The three featured guests Stevo Atambire, Yeronimo and The Wild Child also make their presence known, as Atambire brings his live-instrumentation flavour to the party and the two upcoming producers in London-based Yeronimo and The Wild Child, both of which make a big impression on ‘Wala’.

‘Run From Home’ is the new collaboration track coming to the ‘Green Room’ label from three of the Afro House scene’s newest stars. Drawing inspiration from ancient traditions and tribal cultures, ‘Run From Home’ is a captivating exploration of rhythm and movement that transcends boundaries and invites listeners on a rhythmic journey like no other.

With its hypnotic percussion, bursting basslines, and mesmerizing vocal chants, the track transports listeners to distant lands and ancient rituals. Zoning in on the heartbeat of the drum that echoes through the track, it creates a natural groove that compliments the mystifying vocals and soft piano. This collaboration track takes elements from all three talents merging their styles and techniques together to create this musical journey.

‘What Is Reality’ is an exciting collaboration piece from dance music legends Like Mike, WUULA, and Novak. Changing the pace from Like Mike's frequent high-energy dance floor fillers, ‘What Is Reality’ takes a trip down a more progressive route. With a gentle rolling rhythm of percussion and ethereal synths, this latest track is guaranteed to take you on a journey of musical exploration.

Like Mike's decision to revisit his roots as one half of the renowned duo 'Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike' reflects a natural progression in his solo career. Initially making waves in the trance scene under various aliases and garnering support from industry giants, since then he has transitioned into the realm of Afro house, where he discovered his true musical identity. 

Anorre's recent releases and electrifying performances have earned him recognition in the Afro and Latin house scene, leaving audiences brimming with joy and anticipation for what lies ahead.
