Suark teams up with ADN Lewis for the epic ‘Beautiful Feelings’, dropping via Smash Deep. Suark has been making all the right noises with his latest outings, including the massive ‘Take It Slow’, which also dropped on Smash The House sublabel Smash Deep. ADN Lewis is an esteemed songwriter, penning hits alongside K-Pop megastars such as BTS and NCT Dream, and both artists’ confidence in the studio is clear in abundance on ‘Beautiful Feelings’.

Detuned synth overtones set the tone, alongside a growling lower note, quickly joined by the reflective vocals of ADN Lewis. New electronic elements are added, building towards the drop with the aid of a snare drum which cranks the track up into hyperspeed. The beat consists of sizzling hats and a bouncing bassline that makes sure that ‘Beautiful Feelings’ is as at home on the dancefloor as it is on the radio.

Suark has seen support on his recent offerings from some of electronic music’s highest-profile tastemakers, including label heads Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Yves V and Martin Jensen, and this combination is set to ignite both artists’ fledgling careers. Smash Deep continue on their rich vein of form as they welcome on-fire artists FIVE and LAST60” for their debuts on the label with ‘Numb’. Both artists have excelled in recent times, with tracks such as their previous collaboration ‘Chaos’ performing really well and highlighting their proficiencies in the studio. Smash The House sister label Smash Deep have cemented themselves as tastemakers in the field of deeper electronic music cuts, and they unearth another gem with ‘Numb’.

The track kicks off with the laidback vocal at the forefront, sitting atop robotic glitching synths and filtered down chords, which make way for repeating stabs that build toward the first drop. The effortlessly cool, groovy vibe proceeds in the beat, with subtle musical elements working alongside a deep bassline, which provide interest throughout but allow the impressive topline to shine.  

Collectively, the regular collaborators have seen support from the highest tier of dance music artists, including label bosses Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix, Sam Feldt and Fedde Le Grand. ‘Numb’ is the latest weapon that the double team have up their sleeve ready to unleash on crowds in the coming months.

Generation Smash welcome New York native Dowell to the imprint for his debut single ‘Right Now’. The Smash The House sublabel have long excelled in pushing fresh talent and established names alike, and Dowell is the latest in a long line of on-fire producers to make their bow on the label.

The track starts as it means to go on, in full party mode. A pumping beat and synth tones work hand in hand to set the distinctive groove rocking right from the beginning. The stuttering synth becomes more prominent as the track goes on, punctuated by a secondary synth flutter that switches things up. Vocal glitches and breakbeats flit in and out of the track, keeping interest piqued as tensions build towards the crescendo that is the main drop. 

Since breaking out onto the scene in 2015, Dowell’s stock has been steadily rising, heard in sets from the industry’s biggest players, including Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiësto and R3HAB. ‘Right Now’ is another step in the right direction for the US artist, who continues to go from strength to strength.
