We're happy to present our first guest for 2025 - Tezet!  
Tezets dedication towards techno music started in 2018. Since he wanted to bring his own presence into the scene of his home base in Bremen, he started Djing in 2020 with the intention to gain knowledge about the art of this craft through which he shaped his sound more and more with the time. Nowadays his sound ranges from hypnotic to psychedelic to more deep sounds, while he is always digging for unusual music with interesting sound design making the crowd losing theirselves in mind bending textures.

All these facets can be found in his latest podcast where he takes you on a journey through various moods with proper storytelling in it.

The first release on ISOTES, 'Arctic Moonrise' explores a dark theme.

Authoritarian regimes are known to use exile as a tool to punish political opponents who dare to speak out against corruption or dissent from government decisions.

IK-2 and IK-3 are among many remote penal colonies, with some near the Arctic Circle, where political dissidents are imprisoned. This form of punishment serves a darker purpose: a deliberate strategy to instill fear, suppress dissent, and silence those who dare to resist.

'Arctic Moonrise' reflects the severe hardships endured by these prisoners in isolated camps.

The EP begins and ends with dark ambient tracks, while in between, several dancefloor-oriented pieces emerge, including a remix by smbr.

With the dark ambient tracks, the intention was to evoke the atmosphere of these penal colonies — harrowing tales of deprivation, years in exile, and the slow erosion of body and spirit under relentless cold and isolation.

Alongside her Tresor West residency and her work as a producer and DJ, she carefully builds platforms of her own. With SURD, a multidisciplinary event series in the Ruhr area, she brings together electronic music, visual art and social discourse. And with Spellbound, her new label, she opens a space for experimental, hypnotic sounds – raw, playful and profoundly deep.

In an interview with Andre Kronert, Shaleen speaks about long hours in the studio, producing modularly and surrendering fully to improvisation. Without pre-planned structures or digital safety nets, she immerses herself in a creative process led by instinct. Her inspiration comes from personal experience and electrifying textures brought to life through analog equipment.

Unmistakable are the sonic experiments of Spanish alchemist ORBE; with this fresh release on Token. ORBE’s iconically viscous textures and impactful percussion weasel their way into ‘Ascender’ for a deeper release on Kr!z’s label. Thick, brooding atmospheres drive these tracks into stories of pursuit and escape throughout its four tracks.  

A slick, pulsating low end in ‘Flashback’ stands out as a first impression for an imposing EP. Electric leads zip by for maximum psychosis; he’s known for his uncompromising dissonance and drive. A staple of the Spanish scene, ORBE bites down hard on deep and hypnotic techno to resonate through concrete warehouses. This jagged edge to club music continues through ‘W9Y’ - a more drum-forward cut with noisy transitions and breathable synthwork. Sharper stabs occupy this space as opposed to the track’s predecessor and tension is maintained with a lingering pad in the background. A meditative conclusion for the A side, ORBE quickly shifts his attention in the titletrack ‘Ascender’. Emphasizing tone and tune on the kick, the lead comes with confrontation. Rolling through shifting hats, the producer brings boiling tension through minimal arrangement and the weight of his sound design - a skillset only the most seasoned artists can claim. To close things out, ‘Break Nation’ does just that - cutting off the traditional four/four rhythm and instead presenting itself as a bass stepper. With ORBE’s classic unison packed synths, this dweller presents a whole other perspective on ‘Ascender’. A hybrid of influences and yet still destined for the techno dancefloor, this breath of fresh air serves as deep dive into the subconscious for an eyes-closed experience.

In the scene for quite a long time SMBR continuously advances his very own sound somewhere between forcing techno and influences of deep house and drum ‘n’ bass.
Restrained and deep melodic vibes combined to pushing drums and percussions are exactly the way he likes to tell stories in his own productions or on stage.
Releasing on The Gods Planet, Modern Minimal and Isotes and being part of the first two Delusion releases is an evidence of creativity on his attractive mixture of analog and digital equipment he uses in his productions.
