Welcome humans! 'Yearn' is my new dark and experimental electronic ambient track. I intend to express feelings of depression and isolation that later move towards those of awe and wonder as the song progresses. I want to tell the story of one who struggles deeply with depression and suicidality and their journey as they come to the realization that this world, and all of it's complexity, is truly, incomprehensibly, beautiful. Still, they yearn to see the world's beauty through a different lens, one unafflicted by mental illness. This song reflects some of my internal experiences with mental health as well as complex feelings of ambivalence towards life, general speaking. I hope that the sounds can serve as a uniquely soothing auditory experience for others as well.

I have released music in the past under the names 'Suena', 'Yuuna Sol', and 'Faded Luuna'. I switched, swapped, and created different aliases as I tried to figure out what my style was. Ironically, my oldest work under 'Suena' is probably more in line with what is true for me from a creative expression standpoint. As I developed as a creator, I've realized that I just want to make music that makes me feel content and satisfied when I listen to it, not specifically for other people or communities. Though, I do feel happy, as well as a sense of being understood, when others happen to enjoy my music; I love to share my works with other people. That being said, I have been a happy listener of other artists as well. I've listened to Ambient, Chillstep, Future Garage, etc., for a long time now; starting from around when I was eleven to now at twenty-one. The creating process for this song is finished, now all that's left is for me to do is immortalize it here on the internet. If anyone can find any form of positive emotion from it all, it would be the most I could ever, reasonably so, ask for from this whole process.

Lastly, I wrote lyrics for this track, even though it doesn't really have any. Writing lyrics or poetry sometimes helps me flesh out the feelings that I want to express in a song, even if they are never performed or directly incorporated into the track itself. I hope that they can aid others in understanding my feelings while I was creating the track. I'll leave them below. You can read them as a poem as the song goes on.
