We’re glad to present the first EP on Smile by Vhyce, a true standout class act amidst this wave of talented young Belgian producers. He hails from the post-industrial town of La Louvière, and already has a handful of high quality releases out on labels such as No Brainer, Dikso and Sweat It Out.

Vhyce’s world is warm and comforting, his house is one where everybody gets along and where everything blends into a timeless steaming bowl of optimism soup. It’s no different with this ace EP, on which he delivers a sound that makes you want to stay just a little bit longer.

All 3 tracks are equally sound. “Just To Make Me” skips the introduction and drops you smack in the middle of the action. It’s discohouse served at just the right temperature for immediate consumption. “Beast” boasts a mix of the romance of the 50’s and balearic bliss, and “You Don’t Know” is a dark, more ambient slowshrugger infused with echoes of deep and desperate soul.

There’s a solution to the only possible problem with this release, which is deciding which track you’ll play: just play them all. Over and over again. Just like us.

After Folamour’s full-length work ‘Umami’ made a big splash with critics in late 2017, Classic Music Company presents one of the standout tracks ‘Devoted To U’, giving it the love it deserves with a full single release alongside a remix from rule-defying German duo Session Victim. In its original state a progressive 10 minute-long house record with piano breakdowns that beautifully demonstrates Folamour’s narrative style, Session Victim’s mix introduces a more consistent 4/4 beat to the track while remaining reverent to the delicate strings. Both the original and the remix have a sense of perpetual motion that’s soothing and moving in equal measure.

Brasilian DJ and producer @rafaelcancian delivers a veritable United Nations of diverse international disco flavor for his first outing on Razor-N-Tape. The A side delivers cheeky horns and gyrating synths with Ç'est La Douceur, followed by a flurry of string stabs and vocal fourishes with theI Italo-tinged Fascino Di Milano. On the flip we get a taste of Rafa’s native Brasilian boogie with the stomping Frágil, and the EP winds down with the sensual slow groover Besos Libres. This is a 4-tracker of serious heat representing all four romance languages…perfect for romancing, and dancing!
