What a blessing to share such a journey with the dance crew of Durango!  If you were there, you know.  If you weren't, may this two hour mix into other countries, worlds and dimensions take you where you're needing to be.  Hopefully it'll get in there and move that body as well.

Durango E Dance 5/20/22

One of my all time favorite sets to play for the late night revelers of Unison Festival 2022.  We got pushed back late so my 2-3 AM set ended up being a 2:45-3:45 AM set.  Way past my bedtime!

As we transition through the seasons, we also transition through our lives.  These changes allow for deep reflection and introspection.  Many will try and suppress the change or pretend it is not there.  Sink into it and become the butterfly on the other side of your cocoon.

This set is from opening up for Catching Flies in Durango, CO on September 28th 2022.  What a fun night of high vibin music!

Winter yearns for us to slow down and appreciate stillness.
With each breath, an opportunity arises to witness that stillness.  
What does it feel like to choose the space between, rather than the action?
Have you listened to the wisdom of the stones?  How about the wisdom of an oak tree?  They speak of slowing down and being in a place.
What does it feel like to steep in your essence with deep winter? 
Can that be a practice you can give yourself?

What a treat and an honor to share a set this year at High Vibe fest in Cobb, CA.  The sound was so fat on that Bass Boss system and this music really was able to shine.

Always a pleasure playing for my people's of the Southwest. 
Ecstatic Dance is a journey that brings us into that state of flow and trance which is necessary for the human soul. 
This journey was especially potent for the calling in of Spring to the Desert Southwest this year of 2024.

Just a mix to bring up the vibes a bit with everything going on in the world today.

What we do at night.  This mix reflects it's light from the SUN upon our ears and fields of energy.  I hope you're able to kick back and enjoy this evening mix or whatever time of day you may want to listen.

MOON

Smiley Coyote dwells in the southwest where the desert meets the mountains.  Music has been streaming through his veins since birth.  Having been engulfed by the electronic music evolution, he's been along for the ride since the 90's.  West Coast festivals such as Burning Man, Symbiosis, Lightning in a Bottle and Beloved are what really sparked the desire to share musical journeys through DJing.  He's enjoyed sharing the stage with some of the top producers in the industry as well as performed for many festivals.  His musical selections are genre-bending and able to appease most audiences as long as they enjoy a touch of bass.  Sharing audible frequencies to the Ecstatic Dance community is his most fulfilling experience however.  He crafts each and every set in the moment with only the dancers participation as his guide.  As the co-producer of Unison Festival, he is constantly on the lookout for the freshest sounds to curate the southwest's premier transformational festival.
