SMILEY JONEZ

Born and raised in the city of Philadelphia, Smiley Jonez learned to rap in a vivid dream on the
night of February 5, 2003 – his birthday!
In 2010 Smiley recorded more than 250 songs and hooks, ranging over many topics. His rap
style is a mixture of Tupac, DMX, and Bone Thugs. His music covers all genres: rap, R&amp;B,
gangsta, spiritual, club, pop, and hip hop. Every song has a concept with lyrics relating to the
hooks.
Smiley continues to be an influential singer and songwriter, developing his style and repertoire in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Smiley Jonez: Style and Concepts
Smiley’s signature sound is melodic with a lyrical flow and strong content. With a rap style
mixing Tupac, DMX, and Bone Thugs, his music covers all genres: rap, R&amp;B, gangsta, spiritual,
club, pop, and hip hop.

“Breathe No More” – an inspirational song with a strong positive message and a pop/rap sound.
“Goin Thru Hell” – is motivational, basically telling everybody “When/If you going through
hell, just keep going cause sooner or later you will find your way out.”
