I really wanted to have a song with rapping in this game, and when we decided that this character would be a bully type character i knew this was the one bro
there's an old video of two of my friends on a fishing trip and the whole time one of them does an insane british accent I couldn't stop imagining this character having that voice, so I asked him to voice it. you're hearing his voice right now!!!!!!
The original fishing video is sampled not only in this song but also as Brute Jr.'s talking noise. it's also sampled later in the game in one of Dairy's songs

I thought it would be funny for Brute to be a freestyle rapper but like he's just really bad at coming up with clever lyrics on the fly
so the lyrics to this song are like really bad

I was working on this song and I felt like it was a big generic
and wasn't quite happy with it, but there wasn't enough time
to start over, so I was like "ok what if i just made it suddenly
jazz" and then this song happened
I think the whole dynamic of two different characters
with widely different musical preferences fighting over control
of the song is pretty cool and it was pretty fun to write,
especially the back and forth at the end

when we first started this project I was extremely excited to do this song and had a lot of ideas for it, so I saved it for last. bad idea... by the time I got to it, I was so tired and overworked that I just had to force it out, so in the end, I'm not too happy with this one. Although, I'll say it has grown on me since we finished the game, and Jason and Dairy say it makes a good finale.

Thank you for being my friend.
I find myself so often inspired by you. Whenever I'm talking with you, it always ends up making me want to stop everything and just... create things.
All of my most ambitious ideas have came to me because of the creative groove we created when we grew up together. Bouncing ideas back and forth, constantly making goals and ambitions and dreaming of what we might make next...
Our friendship truly shaped me as an artist.
I'm tired of stifling that and trying to resist the urge to create because I know it won't work out.
