Vayuproduction is currently working on original material that aims to preserve the nerve of ”Chansons francaises” from the 1960’s, which often have a romantic feel to it (Edith Piaf and Charles Aznavour as a reference). The songs are written in English, French and Norwegian.

Stephan Smirou is a french-norwegian producer, songwriter and composer. Stephan has guest starred with names such as ”Jaga Jazzist” and the Norwegian pop-sensation ”Ravi”, collaborated with two-time, Norwegian Grammy Nominee-winner ”Palace of Pleasure,” and written music for well reknowned Norwegian musicians.

Stephan Smirou released the project “Vayu-onceuponadancefloor” in 2012. Two of its songs were played on the Norwegian Broadcasting Channel (radio). Check out the album and the Music video for the track "Girl" on www.vayuproduction.com.

In 2022, he released an album in the genre Cinematic electronica, named Oslo-Paris, combining Scandinavian tones with french melodic cinematic vibes. 

Currently, Stephan is collaborating with the Norwegian trio Popkanon on several remixes in the genre melodic house, soon to be released.
