We are beyond excited to present you the single „Notfall“ which was created in collaboration between the well-known spanish artist Ramiro Lopez and exzess label head Patrik Berg during a spontaneous studio session at Patrik's place in cologne.

„Notfall“ which means emergency in German, starts with a powerful but also groovy drum pattern which already reflects the signature of both artists. The main theme of the track is a constantly changing and grainy texture that makes every single brain cell of the listener vibrate. At first it is introducing more subtly, but then it runs brute frontally through the track and is reminiscent of a intergalactic landing from outter space. The profound male vocal takes you into a supernatural state of being and is delayed over large tape while the aggressive stabs make it clear that it’s only going in one direction: straight forward.

Ramiro Lopez & Patrik Berg - Notfall [exzess]

 British powerhouse Alan Fitzpatrick returns to Figure with his second EP on the label after 2009's 'Weed Killer / Science'. Since then its clear that Alan has continued on a dedicated, valiant quest to find his own sound, and the results are on show here, with a heavyweight, emotive and futuristic Techno three-tracker.Like a warm rush of endorphins on the summer breeze, Alan's rich up-building sound is perfectly represented in tracks like 'A Subtle Change', with its jubilant stab-led melody, or the modern club-weapon vibes of 'Trigger Finger'. Harking back to late 90s UK IDM and 'proper' dub-Techno atmospheres, Fitzpatrick then gracefully crafts a down-tempo, space-out version of 'A Subtle Change' for the B-side, providing the afterhours sessioners with a new buzz-track.

Rebekah makes a more than welcome return to the Soma family with the Enigma EP. The dynamic DJ and producer has been on some what of a roll since her debut album on Soma last year and has taken her furious sound to clubs around the world. With this latest EP she continues to explore the tougher sonic territories for which she is well known. 

Title track Enigma kicks off with Rebekah’s trademark fast and furious energy prominent from the start - carefully constructed percussion and destructive sound design bring the rhythm and power behind the track. The Otherside continues the onslaught with a proper marching beat driving the track with further propellant in the form of distorted vocals and synth elements. Closing out this latest EP is Eighties With You - Rebekah delves in headstrong once again building this one gradually with explosive kicks and percussion as dark, ominous tones grind the axe before once again going full pelt for more in-your-face Techno.

Assembler Code -  We've felt this one coming for a minute now. After an unstoppable run of releases along side Jensen Interceptor on labels such as Cultivated Electronics, Private Persons & Boysnoize Records, AC is finally flying solo with this 4 track electro assault masterpiece 'Mental Escape'.

Plugging into the title track 'Mental Escape’, it’s a rugged machine driven work out through IDM & Industrial landscapes formulated to present his vision of futuristic electro whilst still providing all the nostalgic Rother & Drexcyian nods we all love. 

Now that the tone has been set, 'Simulant' follows suit. Entering the celestial sphere via some haunting sci-fi strings, we're slapped in the face with slamming percussion followed by a relentless acidic modulated baseline that takes us from one planet to the next at light speed.

The Journey wouldn't be complete with out his old partner in crime Jensen Interceptor coming on board for a ride. 'Type 2' is a classic case of past meets present. Scrapyard industrial groove ready to split speakers at your next warehouse party married with a selection of classic Alpha sounds to keep all the purists in check.

The thunder continues to the very end. If you're a tape saturation fiend begging for your next 808 crack hit, prepare to have your back bent in half with euphoria as soon as 'Hal's Machine Tool' is injected into your ears. In short, 4 minutes & 44 seconds of hard nasty robotic electro booty sweat.

Punks are back! After a stunning debut in 2017 these guys are returning with new material. This record was influenced by the latest events connected with governmental issues with Russian club culture - raids, shutdowns of clubs and major festivals. Damage was inflicted on our beloved clubs and festivals such as Outline, Arma17, Rabitza. We admire our neighbors who fought for their houses and managed to protect them: Ukrainian Closer, British Fabric and Georgian Bassiani. 

This is a message about a sincere wish to save equality and independence. There’s no place for political games in our cultural life. Only freedom matters.
